HubBub already had a brand they loved, so there was no need to start from scratch. Instead, we took a brand evolution approach and worked with existing elements to create a streamlined version of the logo.
Through adjusting sizing, reimagining the droplet, and switching the logo to a knockout–we built a refined version that gave the brand much more flexibility and impact across all their materials.
We love design with purposeful execution. So we developed systems that elevate the experience and recognition of the HubBub brand.
Known for their amazing Cold Brew Coffee, it was important to distinguish this product from all others. Making a nod to the category with an ice cube, we pulled it into the system through the implementation of the drip.
A snapshot of the HubBub Brand System.
As a product category, Cold Brew packaging is wildly unimaginative. When everyone is so serious and sporting brown across the board, we helped HubBub go against the grain. With a bold, clean, energetic look–we brought the personality of the brand forward.
The iconography band at the top brings elements of Philadelphia to the forefront but doesn't miss the opportunity to highlight those activities that make life memorable.
The system that entails the icon band, the product icon, and product name provides a lot of flexibility to not only play with color by replacing the bold red, but by interchanging those key elements so different products can uniquely shine.
The coffee bag redesign embodies a bold, simplistic, and a playful approach. It was important that it stood out on a shelf and brought personality with it. And like any small batch roaster, we needed to utilize the bag for all variations. So we built a system around using stickers to quickly recognize variety and provide all the important information for that blend.
Their business cards are simple yet impactful. Slightly larger than a stick of gum, the fit comfortably in a wallet or pocket.
We went with Letterpressed cards for the texture and impact. Utilizing a white foil for the "Good Things Brewing" tagline that makes up one side.
The new truck wrap was built with a less is more methodology. Focusing on simplicity and sizing of elements for a modern artisan branded feel.
We gave each line of business little nuances to differentiate them within the brand.
