In a space that is wildly cluttered with cliches, we knew where we didn’t want to take the brand–but that left a lot of ground to cover. Our initial concepts cast a wide net of styles ranging from modern sports to video gaming.
We landed on one of the bolder logos with an icon feel. The rounded extensions in the typography give it a sporty feel and a lot of fierce personality.
Once the term “The Gold Standard” was thrown around, we knew it was a bit on the nose…but design wise, lent itself well to a visual treatment that we could translate well across channels.

When it comes to MMA the gloves are one of the most recognized brand pieces. We used the CFFC logo for quick brand recognition through photography and broadcast. The gold adds a unique identifier as well as the extra pop of personality.
Its important when you are at a CFFC event that all facets of the experience feel like nothing less than a professional one. From crew shirts to the cage girls outfits, we focused on simplicity and visual anchors to translate the brand in a way that was memorable but also delivered on the professional experience.
From the second you walk up to the entrance on one of our fights we start setting the tone. These floor stands sit on either side of the main entrance at our venues.
Not pictured here is the step-and-repeat backdrop for photographs and the backdrop for the live weigh-ins. And the champions banners that hang from the rafters above the cage.
The motion graphics were a vital piece for the live event, but also to bring that same level of quality to the viewers watching on UFC Fightpass. Pulling through our design approach, we added in the elements of depth and small quick movements to bring the experience to life.
Materials during the event are what we call the “walk-away” pieces. How will someone remember event? The program shown here is one of those pieces. Not only does it have to serve a functional purpose, but it also has to be polished enough that a customer would be excited to hold on to it.
We also developed posters of the event, along with credentials for VIP guests.

Social Media is a huge part of the CFFC event promotion, so we built out a kit to promote fights, fighters to promote themselves, pieces for the sponsors to utilize, general announcements, and emails.
